Collaborating with Professionals

At My Learning, we recognize the impact of collaboration and we value supporting speech language pathologists who are serving Spanish-speaking individuals. Consultations are available for support in the following areas:


  • Bilingualism

    Support with bilingualism may include:

    • education on language difference vs. disorder
    • education on speech difference vs. disorder
    • guidance over selection of appropriate assessments 
    • collaboration to determine appropriateness of services  
    • collaboration to determine appropriate goals and targets

  • Assistive Technology

    Support with AT may include:

    • Guidance over AAC strategies with bilingual individuals 
    • Assistance with educating families over AAC 

  • Supervision

    Sandiey is experienced in supervising graduate students treating bilingual clients. This service may be available on a case by case basis.
